It is not a creature that lives in the forest. It is the forest — the accumulated attention of every tree that has ever stood over something that did not walk back out. The antlers are only the shape it wears so that you have something to look at.
The Watching Woods expands its territory relentlessly, turning the entire board into hostile ground. To play against it is to slowly run out of places to stand, until every direction leads deeper in.
Playstyle
The Watching Woods dominates through space and denial. It gradually claims regions of play, restricting where the opponent can act until they are boxed in and the ritual completes across the ground it has taken.
